Profile

I am a Junior Cost Draftsperson with a specialisation in billing. I have honed my skills in accurately and efficiently drafting inter partes Bills. In my previous position at Duncan Lewis, I served as a Billing and Control Assistant, where I also managed file allocation. My supervisor is Jaspreet Mann and am based at the City Office.
I have a strong passion for Cost drafting, particularly within the realms of judicial review, immigration, and housing matters. I have experience in drafting Bills of Cost, replying to Points of Dispute and negotiation settlements. I find the detailed and analytical nature of this work highly fulfilling. I commenced employment with Cost Law Services in October 2023.

Education

My educational background is comprehensive, with a BA Hons in Childhood Studies from London Metropolitan University and three distinctions in Early Years Childhood Studies from Stanmore College. These qualifications have equipped me with a solid foundation in research, analysis, and attention to detail.

Career

Between 2014 and 2021, I held the position of Clinical coordinator at Specsavers. This role often involved monitoring the performance of clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing patient schedules, and resolving any issues that arise during patient appointments. I also played a key role in implementing new clinical procedures and protocols to improve the quality of care and patient satisfaction.

Outside of work, I prioritise quality time with my children. I enjoy traveling, reading, and nature walks. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential to me, as it keeps me motivated.
