I am a Junior Costs Draftsperson who joined Cost Law Services in October 2023. I’m currently based in the City of London office where I am supervised by Jaspreet Kaur Mann in the London Inter Partes team. I have experience in judicial review matters, immigration and housing. My work includes drafting Bills of Costs and Replies to Point of Dispute, and working on negotiations towards settlement. I find great satisfaction in taking the raw data of a file and fashioning it into a finished and CPR compliant Bill of Costs.
Education
I have both a BA and an MA in History from the University of Essex.
I also hold a level one certificate in British Sign Language.
Career
Most of my career has been spent in Inventory Control surrounded by spreadsheets, which served me well when I pursued a career change in 2019 and began working as a Billing Administrator for a Sole Practitioner Solicitor. When the Solicitor retired, I wished to remain in a billing role and secured my current position with Cost Law Services.
Interests
I like spending my commuting time reading – mostly history and fantasy books. I seem to spend most of my spare time at home clearing up after my two year old and my three cats.
